Can the packaging be recycled?
Yes, the PET Plastic jars and lids can be recycled if your local government offers this service. Our glass jars can also be recycled at home or in glass recycling facility.
Will my Manuka Honey Crystallise?
Eventually all real honey will crystallise, this means it is real raw honey. If your honey crystallises then you can place the jar in warm water to liquidate. We cream our Manuka honey which does reduce the crystallisation of the honey. However it will eventually crystallise.
How long will my Manuka honey last?
Manuka honey, like other honeys will last beyond the use by date if stored correctly. Honey was discovered in the Pharoh Tutankhamun’s tomb which was over 2,000 years old, and it was still edible, crazy right! However, honey does change over time which means the levels of sugars and MGO changes over long periods. So best to use within the use by dates.
How should I store my Manuka honey?
Store Manuka honey out of direct sunlight at ambient temperature. Do not refrigerate or heat Manuka honey.
Contraindications
It is advised that infants under 12 months should not ingest honey. If you have a pollen, honey or bee allergy it is probably best to avoid. Spot test the honey to check it does not give you a reaction, discontinue use if it does.

A miracle/ mindblowing healing power
I received partial thickness burns to my arms and face after a small gas explosion. It was dressed with antibacterial gauze and paraffin for 3 days. On the 4 th day the advice from a nurse was Manuka honey from Tyagarah is ESSENTIAL. We dabbed 850 honey all over my wounds and by morning, all the swelling was gone and after just 30 hours, all new skin was formed and all weeping had stopped. The dead skin virtually dissolved day by day with new fresh skin underneath. A week later and my wounds are completely healed. There is an added bonus that my melanocytes have not become active. I normally produce too much melanin, creating very black scarring. This is the first time in more than 20 years that black scarring has not occurred.

Best cold sore treatment EVER! I’ve had cold sores my whole life and my 3 year old daughter now gets them too. 10 – 14 days is the usual time they take to heal. My daughter recently had a cold sore come up and because I’d recently seen how well the Manuka had worked on my mums burns, I put some on her cold sore. Within 24hrs we could barely see it and within 3 days it was entirely gone.
I’ve never had or seen this happen with anti-viral meds, Zovirax or cold sores patches. VERY IMPRESSIVE!
